8th Grade ELA
We finished our first novel. Half the class read "Meet Molly" while the other half read "Meet Kaya". Our goal is to read 25 books this year.
In response to our first novels, students created a response to literature. Some wrote their own dramatic version using a scene from the book. Other students wrote questions to the author while a third group created a new scene for the book.
